Nostalgic Naturalist

Nostalgic Naturalist is a project that celebrates the artistry and curiosity of 19th-century scientific illustrators. These paintings and engravings, sourced through university and library archives in the public domain, are restored and reformatted to bring their timeless beauty into contemporary homes. Each print is an invitation to hop back in time and view the natural world through the eyes of those who illustrated it centuries ago.

The Vietnam Collection

As a second-generation Vietnamese artist, I've created this collection as a way of exploring my heritage from a different perspective. Rather than through food, language, or music, I chose to connect with Vietnam through its extraordinary flora and fauna. Each restored illustration celebrates a species that is part of the country's natural history, inviting viewers to discover a side of Vietnam that is often overlooked while reflecting my own journey of cultural connection.
